When it comes to transitional style, New Yorkers know best, and stylist and former Vogue editor Anny Choi is no exception. Known for her enviable eye, Anny veers toward understated with room for pops of color, ironic mixes of menswear-inspired silhouettes with elements of femininity, and shoes that meet the moment.
New to styling kitten heels? She suggests starting with a perfect crop pant (like our Lula Pant), a midi, or maxi skirt. “Make sure it hits just at or right above your ankle bone,” she advises. “You want to make sure the kitten heels elongate your silhouette, and these proportions will do the trick.” With unpredictable Spring weather in mind, we asked Anny to style some of our newest kitten heels styles, creating a handful of looks with a few of her favorites from our newest collection.

“I love that a chic pair of kitten heels can dress up any look—and when I say any, I really mean any! Just throw them on with a set of pajamas, layered with a classic sweater for this unpredictable Spring weather, and voila! This weekend look will literally take you from your bed to a day at the museum, and I love the pop of color the red shoes add.”

“I am going to be living in this sundress all Summer long—and it’s an ideal beach cover-up for those sun-soaked days! While I would usually style this dress with raffia accessories and flat sandals for the beach, adding a little heel can go a long way for a day in the city. I tend to shy away from color in my clothing, but I love how adding fun colorful accessories can dress up a simple white silhouette when it's warm.”
Weather Permitting
“My go-to Spring uniform—dare I say, the perfect French girl look? Adding an oversized trench will polish even the simplest of outfits. I would wear this with a pair of loafers during the day for client meetings and then change into these gold kitten heel sandals for dinner with friends. Metallic shoes are the secret weapon to creating the ultimate day-to-night look!”
