MARIE LAFFONT

Marie is a French designer with experience in different artistic worlds. She worked across various mediums including sculpture, fashion, photography and painting. Her Shoes, most notably, became a recurring theme, as for Marie, they lend themselves to her artistic and personal philosophy of presence and engagement. Shoes, like art, can transport the viewer or wearer, both physically and figuratively. 

Marie believes that modern women should not have to compromise. Shoes should not be a matter of comfort or style.

Marie Laffont's shoes are made by Italian artisans using age-old techniques that are rooted in regionally specific traditions. Created by hand, demonstrating unique craftmanship and supporting one-of-a-kind pieces in a world of homogenized mass production.
